BUHL AIR SEDAN NC7101

Remains Of No Value

This aircraft is a Buhl CA-3C Sport Air Sedan S/N 33 (ATC #46) built in July, 1928 by Buhl Aircraft Company, Marysville, MI. It had a 200 HP Wright Whirlwind J5-AB engine, S/N 8981. It weighed 3,200 pounds.

NC7101 landed once at Glendale, on Monday, April 20, 1931 at 12:42PM. The pilot was not identified. Neither were passengers, home base or destination cited.

As with many Golden Age aircraft, NC7101 changed hands about a dozen times between 1928 and 1951. The registration was cancelled February 15, 1951 at the request of its final owner, because the airplane was, “crashed and junked; remains at Duvall, WA of no value.”

As a fairly new airplane, NC7101 also landed once at the Davis-Monthan Airfield, Tucson, AZ, Tuesday, October 16, 1928 flown by its first owner. Its full technography is online over at the Davis-Monthan Airfield Web site at the link.
